Blue to mauve gradient nails and Lakme and Elle 18 polish review

Did a gradient with metallic blue and metallic mauve at the tips. In the photo the gradient looks like light falling on my nails.

Metallic Blue – Lakme

Metallic mauve – Elle 18

To create the gradient I applied the nail polish in such a way that the quantity deposited towards the end of the nail was lesser than at the start.

The metallic blue was quite thin and needed multiple layers to get a dense shade. Since I did a gradient this was convenient. It dries quite fast despite the number of coats applied. (That was convenient as I just can’t sit around waiting for nail polish to dry ever!)

The metallic mauve is a pretty silvery mauve. This color took slightly longer than the blue to dry.
